As the CSEOL initiative gears up to select its first pilot projects, the CSEOL Bootcampers are now ensconced in the Big Hall at ESRIN, Frascati, pitching their projects to the CSEOL expert panel.
By the end of this training, attendees will become familiar with SDG Indicators 15.3.1 and 11.3.1, understand the basics on how to compute sub indicators of SDG 15.3.1, understand how to use the Trends.Earth Urban Mapper web interface, and learn the basics of the Trends.Earth toolkit.
This week the CSEOL expert panel will be selecting successful Pilot Projects from our shortlisted Greehouse Teams. The panel, comprises internationally recognised experts in Citizen Science and/or Earth Observation: Pierre Philippe Mathieu and Jolanda Petruno from ESA, Luigi Ceccaroni from Earthwatch, Steffen Fritz from IIASA and Rosy Mondardini from the University of Zurich. The Pitches to the panel will take place this Thursday 11 July between 09.00 and 13.00 at ESRIN, Frascati and is open to any staff and visitors at ESRIN who’d like to attend.
